Future Pace Design, recently completed a showroom expansion for shoe retailer Steve Madden Inc.. The showroom is located in midtown Manhattan at the corner of 6th Ave. and 56 St.

Future Pace Design, and the Steve Madden team collaborated closely in order to revitalize, enhance and expand the existing showroom from it's previous 2000 square feet to the expanded size of 5000 square feet.

"Our goal was to provide our client with an environment that combined the current sleek and contemporary design approach used in their recent retail stores with the classic rough and edgy feel synonymous with the brand.", says Mr. St. Julien.

The flexibility of the design allows the space to be divided into separate zones for all of their women's and men's lines. Although each intimate working area is clearly defined through the use of mobile displays, the entire space can be quickly reconfigured for larger groups. A walk down the steel and glass staircase takes you to even more working areas the cafe where buyers can relax and rejuvenate.
